Daily: Reflect on 5 things for which I'm grateful.

1. obama won
2. i don’t have to leave the country
3. watching my daughter’s imagination grow
4. did i mention obama won?
5. oh yeah, and obama won

1. finally got that raise
2. the election is almost over
3. a good day at the gym
4. new glasses
5. my city is fairly defensible should a zombie epidemic occur :)

1. that things aren’t worse
2. my little book lined office
3. i’m not dealing with as many jerks as i could be (i’m just focusing my attention on them, yeah!)
4. understanding non-understanding
5. mindfulness training (again)

1. i haven’t yet crumbled from everything going on
2. early voting
3. not having to go away for the holidays
4. learning that i’m not as smart as i thought i was
5. the beauty in letting go

1. finally able to really mourn for my grandmother (after a year and a half)
2. my f-in-l is determined to fight cancer and is getting proper treatment now
3. when everything sucks, i can always nap (almost instantaneously)
4. no more fleas!
5. quiet time to piece myself together

being back in my bed

having the chance to be defensive and stopping myself from doing it (yeah mindfulness training)

my daughter saying “you’re a good man, daddy”

2. Finished with work for the day
3. Sending random spontaneous email poetry out tonight
4. seeing my daughter really turning into a person
5. sleep! I’m coming….
