start my own business

I need to take some business classes next semester. I will do this.

I will do a plan by the end of December.

I’m going through a period of being disillusioned by fairies. I didn’t realize there were so many rascals. Apparently everyone already knows this. I was watching the Barbie Fairytopia dvd with my granddaughter and those fairies were not nice.

I do like the astral plane though. It seems so much like Hawaii. I guess thats why the tourism industry thrives. Its the waterfalls, rainbows and flowers. And I like it that the Menehune are great engineers.

Our neighborhood has a wonderful plate lunch place that is really ugly looking inside. I was sitting in there yesterday looking at the dirty mirrors, piles of boxes, and really tacky paper signage and thinking about what a shame it is that they don’t fix it up. Then I though about whether they would pay me to fix it for them. I think I’m going to make a list of suggestions and sketches and just take it over there.

My boss wants to talk to me tomorrow afternoon, so I’m assuming it will be negative. He has turned into this tazmanian tornado of negativity. I think this will provide me with the incentive to find a new, better paying, and more fulfilling job. It will be my choice even if he doesn’t realize it. I have lots of great ideas in my back pocket that I can’t publish until I’m away from his greed. Its still really a bit scary to try something new. Support will be appreciated.

I’m about half way through a book called “Small Giants” by Bo Burlingham about small successful companies. It seems like they had some really clear values that I share. They are the kind of companies many people are striving for, I think. Good ideas to think about anyway.

Any suggestions for starting to write the business plan. Got it all in my head. Should I just start randomly writing then put it in structure?

I’m tempted to write as much as possible publicly about this so nobody else can take credit for it. I’m sure its already being done, because there are no new ideas.

I’ve looked at the choices in new jobs and its time for me to get serious about starting a business. Time for action.
