Make a portfolio website, and update it

Step one is to come up with a professional domain name for my portfolio and I think I have it. I’m looking to purchase the domain on Friday.

Step two is to start conceptualizing what the site will look like, so I’ll probably be drawing thumbnails with different designs in mind.

I really want this site to be something special because I’m having a hard time finding a job and beside me getting my certification in Applied Graphic Design Technology, I want this site to show what I can do. I want to work on this site all summer with intentions of launching in August.

I never got that site up, but I am determined to get it up during winter break. I NEED one up to show that I am a jack of all trades in the ad industry. I’m at a point where I don’t really care where I end up in the industry, but creative (like I once dreamt) would be nice if I can do it without taking my schools portfolio class or advanced copy.

I’m actually going to start working on mine tonight. I am going to take the full three weeks I have off before summer school starts and hopefully have it up by June 3rd.
