create a home inventory

Things are still in boxes! Not only do I need to unpack things, but also need to find the time, and figure out where to store things once the boxes have been unpacked.

I made an inventory of things before I packed, and sealed the moving boxes shut so I kind of have a home inventory. I would like to mark this goal as being complete, but I’m thinking that I should wait until I’ve unpacked everything, and settled into my home for a while. I might change things around a bit so until that time this goal is still active.

I must remember to do this, then I can label the boxes, and have a rough idea what’s inside the boxes.

I made an inventory of some of the winter clothes, and made note of the colour, and size. It will be a good list to have for next winter then I’ll know what clothes I already have.

I’m working on getting rid of the clutter, before I get started on this goal. I want to get rid of ALL unnecessary possessions, BEFORE I start this goal so that it’s a streamlined process.

I want to give myself about 1 week to complete this inventory.

I’ll first make a paper copy of the inventory, and then maybe save it digitally. I think that having an inventory is going to help me to stay organized, and know what is on hand to avoid buying duplicates of things.

Hmmm, I wonder how long it’s going to take me to complete this goal….
