Pray the Rosary, Pope urges 2 years ago

Vatican, Oct. 8, 2007

At his Angelus audience on Sunday, October 7, Pope Benedict XVI encouraged Catholics to pray the Rosary “for peace in families, nations, and the entire world.”

Noting that he was speaking on the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Holy Father reminded the faithful in St. Peter’s Square that in her apparitions, the Virgin Mary as “insistently recommended the daily recitation of the Rosary as a means of ending war.”
