explored haystack rock again @ cannon beach, then seaside (lame), and fort stevens park (cool shipwreck!), astoria (cool), and cape disappointment in Washington. good day trip.

we went to Mobile for mardi gras this weekend. it was too much fun!
and because the weather was amazing on Sunday, we also drove down to the beach at dauphin island. our dog even ended up going with us on this road trip… since the vet closed early on friday due to the snowstorm and we had no one to watch her. it was a blast!

josh and i have taken several little trips around the SE lately.
longest one this year was to NOLA in December.
we’ve also gone to the GA aquarium, little river canyon, trade day, tigers for tomorrow…
trying to explore the kitschy americana and neat places around our home.

went up to nashville for the day on saturday. the motivation was the ADULT. show we were attending late that night, and we turned it into an opportunity to explore the city. not so impressed with nashville. did eat at some good ethiopian and sushi restaurants, but that was the highlight. even the ADULT. show disappointed me in comparison to the their show in atlanta a month ago. the crowd was super WEIRD.
