Success!  — 2 years ago

When I was first diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel, I thought it was going to be something that I had to struggle with everyday. While I do get the occasional flare-ups every now and then, I know how to stop the flare-up from getting worse. I do my exercises three days a week and this helps tremendously to prevent me from even getting a flare-up in the first place.

Lately...  — 2 years ago

I have been doing extremely well with this goal! Writing and typing everyday for NaNoWriMo has finally put me into perspective. I don’t want to risk getting a flare-up and then having to drop out. Even after NaNoWriMo ends, I want to stay motivated and continue to do this goal. I can be so lazy when it comes to this but as a writer, I need my hand. I know there will be the occasional flare-ups but if I continue doing my exercises, chances of getting one are a lot less likely.

I’ve been doing so horrible with this goal and have been getting several small flare-ups because of my laziness. I need to start pushing myself to do my exercises at night!!

Carpal Tunnel Exercises  — 3 years ago

This has to be an ongoing goal of mine. I was diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel a few months ago and just finished the course of my physical therapy. My doctor said that I will get the occasional flare ups, but if I continue to do my exercises three days out of the week, they will be less likely.

This is some of the most intense pain I have ever been in, and it is one of the worst feelings not being able to use your hand for everyday things, as well as for writing (which is something that I must do!) I don’t want to be in pain, and so I have to do the exercises even though I might be feeling lazy at the time.
