I’m trying to keep up the whole walking home from work bit at least twice a week. I also found a neat exercise plan that fits right into my walking routine that I’m going to try out. I’m also cutting out drinking pop starting June 2nd so that will definitely help as well. I can do this!

I’ve decided to walk home from work now. It’s only 2 miles and today it only took 40 minutes. That’s only 10 more minutes than if I had waited for the bus and taken it over during traffic hour. Not bad at all. I’ve also started walking halfway to work in the mornings, so there’s another mile there. Walking three miles a day, should help this goal out a lot!

Now I just have to stop eating junk food at work. It always seems as if someone is bringing in candy or something. It’s been fun though.

The dental work I’ve been getting done before I lose my dental benefits is incidentally helping me with this goal. I’ve been on a liquid diet since last Friday and my body is finally adjusting to the lack of calories. It hasn’t been as dramatic as it was when I first started getting my work done a couple of years ago, but it’s enough of a wake up call to focus on my diet and really work on this goal. I’m not really concerned so much with my diet though..it’s mostly the lack of exercise, because as long as I do my pilates I don’t need to watch what I eat. I’m lucky for that, but lazy and stressed because of all the other things I need to do that I feel are more important. Regardless, I need to make more of an effort especially with summer coming up. I really hate these extra 15 pounds I’ve gained in the past two years. Blah.

I’m back to doing pilates so woo hoo. Now all I need to do is not eat so much and cut back on the pop a tad.

This goal really looks like it’s going to have to wait until after I move. Things have been too hectic and I don’t have any time to exercise. I have been getting better about not drinking sugary drinks though. Maybe I should just focus on the diet aspect right now.

I seem to keep gaining more and more weight and despite this, I continue getting more lazy about what I’m eating and doing. I know if I could just get up the motivation to start doing my pilates again, I’d be fine. It’s just so much other stuff is going on right now. It’s really hard. :/

I lost 5 pounds, mostly due to the fact that I go to school and work 3 jobs now and it equals more walking around and calories burned then if I was just sitting at home.
If I could just cut out all sugary drinks and lower my fast food intake I’d be fine. It worked before and I’m positive it could work again.
