posted my entry to the group. First, I had to join the group- I didn’t realize that I hadn’t yet. Then I had to figure out how to add a photo to a group, which I’ve never done before. Good thing it wasn’t too difficult ;)
This is the photo that I chose to add to the group- my daughter at Heritage Square, in Golden, CO.
REMEMBER- if you haven’t posted your photo yet, you only have until the 21st!!
Here they are. I was a little down that day. It was a busy day but I couldn’t seem to get in the spirit of taking pictures. I felt as if I was pushing it, searching too hard for things to photograph. I’ve had to let these grow on me and narrow them down here and then I’ll narrow these down to one pick…
mooniebutt is a Mommy!
I only took a few pictures on Saturday so I didn’t have much to choose from. This should teach me to take MORE photos and not be so self conscious about taking photos… one of these days I’ll get better!
Here’s my photo!

the aftermath of last night

the bleeding hearts are getting big

it was raining out so I decided to stay in and paint
Amazingkae is going to be the shadow of her former self for Halloween.
I just could not resist finally stopping to take this pic finally… Thank goodness the police and men in black cars let us go with camera in tact and did not pull us into custody! Now, if only homeland security and the Reganites weren’t out to get me for exploiting and photodocumenting this classic piece of potentially “oxymoronic” history (though as a historian and patriot I state no claim in either direction either for or against and assume a position of Swiss neutrality regarding the evidence).
Oh, the lengths I go to for 43 adventures as an international woman of mystery. It doesn’t quite beat my all time favorite, “escorted from the city of Tampa” story—but what the hell… I am older and wiser now and the sublime impresses me. The shadowy figure under the Romulan cloaking screen at the base of the CIA sign is me and my May 5th picture submission for flicker posterity.
Enjoy, everybody!
Yeah, it was fun. It would have been much more worth doing if my DSL wasn’t down, causing me to spend 10-15 minutes uploading each picture on dial-up!
Here’s my favorite picture I took yesterday. My daughter is one of those who it’s difficult to get a smile out of for a picture. I don’t know how many photos of her I’ve thrown out because she was making some horrible face.
She had just waken up here, so I guess that I caught her off guard ;)
was decorated for the occasion. It’s a huge deal and they have to close off the street ‘cuz it’s such a zoo.
Apparently this year there was also a big street festival in Moline. When I was out for my run I couldn’t take my normal route because they had an area I usually go through fenced off. I wish my PDA weren’t in the shop being fixed; I would have taken it with on my run yesterday.
After Ganzo’s we went to a party at another friend’s house, but I didn’t take any pics there. Too many prior Margaritas – they wouldn’t been blurry! Didn’t hit the sack till 2:30, so I’m tired today.
These are friends who hung out with us at Ganzo’s. He had to leave early because he had to get over to one of his jobs – he works at Comedy Sportz, a local place that does interactive improvisational comedy. He also plays bass in a band we’re going to go see next Saturday – should be fun!
