I found something that’s helped a lot. I found it on www.stratejoy.com; its called the Joy Equation.
It helps you realize what you feel your true purpose is - what makes you vibrate so intensely with joy - and breaks it down into goals.
I found that if I can take everything in my life that I procrastinate on and relate it to how it fits in with my goals, the person I want to be and then ultimately my purpose, well… everything has a new meaning.
I don’t WANT to procrastinate because I am so excited about how these things will get my my dream.
todoist.com and the pomodoro technique help me the fuck out, too!

I received an intuitive report that said that I harbor ANGER due to frustration because I do not accomplish my goals.
So, I signed up for tuexduex.com this weekend. I put a to-do list. For the first time ever in my life, I completed everything on the to-do list on a WEEKEND!!!!
I do not want to be an angry person, so I must accomplish goals.

Ugh, being tired really makes it hard to NOT procrastinate. So miserable. Sleep has to become a priority!

I have read The Now Habit and give it a lot or praise, however unscheduling was too unstructured for me. I didn’t “get it”. I would have my fun and then not do the work.
I think unscheduling is genius and I think using POMODORO method during my unscheduled time will yield a great result. The issue is… how do I talk myself into starting Pomodoro? I think:
* daily meditation gives me the confidence that I CAN concentrate. Part of the reason I used to never sit still and study was because I BELIEVED I was INCAPABLE.
* over time, I will get used to doing Pomodoro (I hope o_o, but it certainly feels this way!)
* Dr. Neil Fiore guarantees in 2 minutes, I’ll be focused if I try this technique after 2 weeks:
# sitting upright, focus on deep breathing 3X. Each exhale is a release of tension.
# Focus attention on chair and floor. They support your body, so you can release those muscles.
# As eyelids feel heavy, allow them to softly close
# Deep breathe 3X letting go of the past, what you just did, your hectic morning, etc.
# Deep breathe 3X letting go of the future and your expectations for it, including deadlines
# Deep breathe with the final statements (in the book … basically self-hypnosis)
New Planner
I bought a new planner, as well. It has more emphasis on MONTHLY calendar because I tend to lose “the whole picture” when I plan my life and my day. I also plan to use the invidual days more like a diary of sorts with thoughts, reminders, and also marking down the number of POMODOROS I do each day to track my progress. It is a leather bound diary of sorts. I’ll photograph it later. I love it. Now, yes, I am usually a planner junkie, but I think I truely have found my planner soul mate now lol

This is saving my ass right now coupled with meditation everyday.
Meditate everyday without fail. This will make it easier to use tools such as pomodoro.
Good luck and I will update soon :)

I have found temporary fixes to get myself to stop procrastinating, but I want something permanent. I want to effortlessly remember and accomplish tasks without distraction or desire for distraction.
What helped me as a temporary fix was
THE POWER OF NOW book which you must read and
POMODORO METHOD (not a book, a concept that is free! Google it!!!)
I am currently listening to Rhonda Britten who says every problem you have stems from fear.
I’m also at the school of metaphysics which stresses the importance of daily meditative exercises. They must be done daily which tells me that maybe there is no permanent fix, but maybe something you can do every day that will reset your brain to no procrastinating mode?
More updates to come.

Allyn Stoller knows tomorrow will be better--yes it will--I know it will
I haven’t lost my crown yet. I should be grading papers, yet here I sit at the computer reading other people’s goals. As fascinating as that is, it doesn’t get my papers graded.
Okay, I’m going to find the calculator and get with it. Enough procrastinating!

So I currently have a whole MESS of creative projects I need or want to work on. They’re all piling up in my brain, so this is a dump-list so that I don’t forget any. After I get my 43t goals list cleaned up, I would like to add more of these as their own goals, so I can give them the attention they deserve.
