I've lost 8 pounds!  — 4 months ago

Yay!! Actually, not really yay. I know it’s not healthy weight loss. I still haven’t really adjusted to working the evening shift, and my meals have suffered. I rarely eat meat anymore, not by my own choice but more out of laziness (and missing my mother’s home cooked meals!). I’ve been missing quite a few meals entirely also.

I’m not upset that the weight is gone – but I will need to work out a plan and shopping list and couples weight loss with a healthy diet.

We had a big Halloween potluck today at the lab. I won’t go into all that I had to eat, but it was finished off with a neverending trail of mini cupcakes…

Looks like this goal is here to stay for a good long while!

Surprising progress  — 9 months ago

I hopped on the scale for the first time in a long while today…just for the heck of it. I am down 10 pounds! How did that happen?!

Hopefully this is for real and not some fluke. :)

Back on track  — 10 months ago

I lost 5 pounds a few weeks ago and have been stalled at that point since then. I’m proud that I haven’t eaten myself into oblivion with my recent sadness (though I usually don’t tend to eat a lot when I’m upset). Still I haven’t really had any care for trying to eat healthy.

So I’m going to try to get back on the bandwagon here and be more conscious of what I eat and try to remove these pounds from myself.

After so long of having no progress! :D Unfortunately I know the reason…I haven’t stop moving and haven’t been eating much since I’ve been so busy! Lots of missed meals which I know is no good for you either, but I am happy to see some of the pounds dropping off.

No more running…lots of stress…I really really want to make progress at this but it seems so impossible right now.

At least the cafeteria food at the hospital is awful so I won’t be overeating there.
