okay well this morning when i weighed myself i was 104.4
which is pretty good..
then i weighed myself after i played tennis for an hour…105.2!!!
i think it’s because i had a pretty bad lunch today…turkey bacon cheddar cheese pita wrap with like 5 mini sugar cookies. ahh i think its the cookies that did me in.
well i’ll se how it goes tomorrow morning!

umm i dont know  — 8 months ago

so this morning…
104.4 lbs.
i gained .4 which is fine with me..
but THEN
i had a ginormous bad breakfast which always happens on the weekends!
by the time i got home from violin lesson and shopping (which was excercise!)
I’d gone up to 105.8!
i hope it goes down by tomorrow morning

lunch was just a nature valley bar and some chick-fil-a french fries
dinner was horrible!
i didnt actually eat ‘real food’ but had like three strands of funnel-cake type things. three small strands, 2 about 1/2 inch width ropes twisted together and maybe 6 inches long???
and then I had a bite of tiramisu cake.

I’m definitely going back to healthy eating tomorrow. i just hope today hasn’t ruined my dieting this week. i was so happy! i mean, dropped 1.8 pounds in a week??? Miraculous, for me!!!
I hope i can remain that way. Yikes.

which means…i have two weeks to lose 2.4 lbs. that is, if I don’t gain any weight…

today was an okay-food day.
i played tennis for an hour

Breakfast:
1 chocolate-glazed krispy kreme donut
1 special k bar

Lunch:
oven-roasted chicken tortilla
1/2 slice of Sargenteno cheddar cheese
1 bag of 100 cal. pretzels
1 Nature Valley peanut butter granola bar
1 Quaker Rice Cake
about 20 green grapes

Snack:
1/2 bannana
1/2 Fuji apple
1 yam…sweet potato…which one, not sure!

Dinner:
salad with oven-roasted chicken

Snack:
1 cup of Kellogs Pops cereal

I think, I need to exercise more. Maybe it’s the cold weather, but I don’t feel like I’m burning enough calories. During the weekend, I’m definitely going out and running a couple laps around my neighborhood!

1/2 of light lemon meringue yogurt

Snack
2 1×1 pollman’s brownies
2 sugar cookies

Dinner
salad with grilled chicken

Yay! I dropped .8 lb and now am down to a solid 105. 105 has always been my plateau before, so now I’m going to need extra motivation to get through this.
Okay, today’s food

Breakfast
3 pieces of Aunt Jemima’s homestyle pancakes plain (220 cal)

Lunch
1 small tortilla wrap
4 slices of Sara Lee oven-baked chicken
1/2 slice of Sargentinto Cheddar Cheese
1 oz. organic corn chips
1 light string cheese stick
1 small bag of Quaker Snack Mix in Baked Cheddar

Snack
1 light peach yogurt
1 persimmon

Dinner
A frozen dinner (240 cal.)
cinnamon twist sweet roll
1 drumstick oven baked chicken

snack:
8 oz. fat free organic milk

The exercise I get is basically 1-2 hrs. of tennis atleast three times a week. I also run for about 30 minutes on Saturday.
I know this seems like really little exercise compared to all those people who are going to the gym for like 2 hours, but do you think I need to exercise more??
It’s just that I have no time at all. I’m a freshman in high school, and theres just so must homework, and other activities I’m doing.

So..the beginning  — 8 months ago

So I’ve been trying to lose weight for FOREVER. I’ve been in the 104-108 range for MONTHS and I really want to get back down to 100. Please help me make good decisions about food, and to !!!resist temptation!!!

Age: 14
Height: Somewhere between 5’0-5’1
Starting Weight: 105.8
Goal Weight: 100

Hopefully, 5 pounds will have vanished by the second week of December. This is such a hard season to lose weight in, Thanksgiving….Christmas…eugh.
But I’ll try.

Okay, today’s meals-
Breakfast:
1 scrambled egg
1 cup of Honey Nut Cheerios
Lunch-
1 small tortilla wrap
4 slices of Sara Lee’s oven-baked chicken
1/2 slice of Sargentino cheddar cheese
1 small bag of Quaker’s Snack Mix in Baked Cheddar
Snack-
2 pieces of Fuji apple
1 persimmon
1 this bread-vegetable thing…korean food (190 cal! ahh!)
Dinner-
Salad w/...
lettuce (obviously)
baby tomatoes
1 boiled egg
carrots
1/2 cup of just plain boiled macaroni (no cheese at all)
a teeny tiny bit of Italian dressing

P.S. I know with my height/weight info I may seem skinny, and my BMI is like 19.7 or 20.2 (depending on whether I go by 5’0 or 5’1 for my height info)and it’s a completely normal BMI, but i just want to lose the fat and love handles off of my stomach! Almost every single girl I know has a flat stomach and really skinny thighs (I have big, muscular thighs, partly from athletics and mostly genetics). What I really want is a flat stomach.
