It may not be perfect,...  — 5 months ago

...but I’m marking it as “DONE” anyways. I’ve got to get going on February before it’s over.

15-minute challenge goal...  — 5 months ago
...let’s see how far I can get in the next 15 minutes, starting right now.

Update @4pm:
Arrgghh. This is painful. I know I spent more than 15 minutes, but it was spent on more decluttering on my desktop. Haven’t really got to the expense-tracking yet.

How can I reframe that positively? I spent over 15 minutes on further de-cluttering on my desktop, to further my goal of expense tracking. It was hard and painful, but I did it. I’m not done, but I’ve at least taken one or two baby steps.

I challenge myself to tie up the loose ends and mark this goal as “done” by the end of today.

No expenses for 1-31-2008
One key thing about charting your expenses is to reconcile your cash on hand every month against what you reported.
A perusal of January reveals that I had $21.85 unaccounted for.

For me, that is excellent. I will continue doing this. I read in another financial blog that tracking your expenses is mandatory. Thanks gang, for getting me involved in this!

Maybe I'll revisit this in March.  — 6 months ago

My tracking involves other members of my family. I need to tighten this up a bit and be more systematic. It was satisfying to see other people’s progress on this goal. Kudos to New Isabella, Kellgo, and ToddieM for their diligence and, hopefully, profitable progress!
