Gina, Kristen and I saw this older couple at IHOP who were all dressed up and looked amazing. So, when we were leaving (at the same time they were) Gina asked them why they were all dressed up and they told us that they were at a dance at Celebrations. I WANT TO GO DANCING SO BADLY! haha 5 years ago
Dancing to anything, anyhow, anywhere is good for your soul! Just do it whenever you fancy. :o) 5 years ago
I really do, but no one ever gets to see that side of me because there is no where to go dancing around here! Road trip anyone? =] 5 years ago
I haven’t really danced much since my teenage years, when one was almost forced to if you wanted to impress your date (or embarrass her) by your fancy/lousy footwork at school dances. After graduation I have rarely danced except at an occasional wedding reception, where alcohol drank in mass quantities was typically what instigated this infrequent behavior in myself. YMCA, the Electric Slide, The Duck Dance, yep, I did it all.
So, now, I suddenly want to go dancing. And it’s not like I have to; I am not being forced at gunpoint or even being asked for that matter. This is solely my idea. And I ask, what’s gotten into me? I don’t know but I want to go dancing with Miss Maggie sometime soon. Just want to do this with her; swing her around, hold her close, just be with her. She makes me want to try new things, see new places, challenge myself more. Maybe love does that kind of thing to you…
Well, there is a place in St. Louis where they have ballroom or swing dancing usually, typically on Friday and Saturday nights. They even have free lessons before the band starts so why not give it a try? Yes, we may embarrass ourselves a bit, but who cares as long as we have fun, right? And I know they serve alcohol there in case I need a little push! :) 5 years ago

I went out Saturday night and hopped around like a nutter. It was lots of fun and I plan on doing it again soon. Now if I could only learn how to crip-walk… 5 years ago
I used to dance all night long! Now I live in the sticks, have kids and live far away from my friends…I long for a boogie, an evening of fun filled dancing…I am sure it will happen, but when and where? 5 years ago
well, not that I mind going out by myself but it becomes such a hassle without benefit of a friend with me cause then some guy attaches himself to me for the evening and because I find it hard to be mean, am stuck.
Last time a guy picked my cellphone up when it fell from my purse, nice you say, sure. Until he says he will only give it back when I give him my phone number and then worries me when he starts to dial his own number on my phone so he could have my phone # that way. NOT cool.
I just want to go out and dance, don’t want to be hassled. 5 years ago
