This is becoming much less of a goal, now that my husband and I live in town. He and I both are making an effort to walk to work, which not only makes us feel healthier, but also saves us money, and is better for the environment! Although, this may change come winter. 2 years ago

Right now this is a want, but as soon as my trusty cavalier dies, this will be a need. I can’t complain though, because the cavalier has been around since i was in high school, and she’s got almost 2k miles on her now.. 3 years ago

The main thing I need to get a new car is the money to pay for it or having enough to pay loan payments. I have had my current car a Ford Taurus since Oct of 1999. So I am really ready for some new wheels. 4 years ago

Ok, I’ve just done this. I did my research, found the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted to pay and bit the bullet. It is very scary for me to buy a new (to me) vehicle when my income is so low but if I want to pursue this career path, I have to have this. Wish me well!
Now, anyone out there need a really nice 2000 Honda Accord? ;-) 5 years ago

I actually like my Honda sedan. When I bought it five years ago it was perfect for my long commute and my frequent drives to FL to see Mom. Now I need something that can carry literally hundreds of pots, a display unit and a tent. Right now when I do a show I actually use my seatbelts to secure my pots! And I’m limited to indoor shows that provide displays. I’m talking truck or van here. It will have to get great gas milage and I would prefer a van over a truck. And – I want to pay cash. I don’t want much do I? But there it is Universe, whatchagot for me? 5 years ago

It was scary, but exciting to buy a new vehicle. I like being able to sit up higher to see on-coming traffic, and it’s good in the winter time with the 4-wheel drive. 5 years ago

In 2003 my husband and I each bought our very own brand new vehicles and it was so exciting! We’d both never had that experience before which made the moment very special :D I got to co-sign for him and he did the same for me when it was my turn!
Unfortunately shortly after his purchase, my husband was involved in a work-related car accident and was luckily unharmed. But as a result, he had to get another new car! And then about 2 years later, he traded it in for yet another new vehicle that he currently drives :D
As for me, a couple of years into having my first new vehicle, we also decided to trade that one in and upgraded to another new one that was even better!
