I have always lived in the midwest. Now, I would like to travel to visit the United States. I enjoy new surroundings and friendly people. 5 years ago
I read so many aritcles on backpacking to europe from the cost ($5000 is my estimate, for about 5 weeks and wise budgeting), to vaccines, and hostels, all the way to manners and how one should act….
okay cool, I want to see europe and apparently it is very popular, but what about the united states it’s self, is it too dangerous, or expensive, I don’t know because most artiles I read are for people with money, and an RV.
so by the end of the year im either going (ironically) the safe route and travel outside of country to europe, or go the not so popular, once traveled by foot and buss, united states.
I think it would give me a deeper sense of appreciation of where I live, lol even though it’s out in the middle of nowhere =). but we shall see come november (shakes with excitment; there are a lot of things happening in november!) 5 years ago

My boyfriend and I are about to leave to start traveling the US. We are going to live pretty rustic and stay at campgrounds in a tent. I just don’t want to pull a trailor so we will see how this goes. If anyone has any advice on where to go and which places are safer than others for camping I would really appreciate it. 6 years ago
I would just love to travel throughout the USA in an RV visiting the great points of interest like Mount Rushmore, the St. Louis Arch etc. I would like to collect a sample of dirt from each state. 7 years ago
it’s something I didn’t do as a kid. I’m getting sneak peeks of some really cool places when I go on work travel and I’m liking what I see, and I’d love to see more of it :) 8 years ago
