Dear 43 Things Users,

10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.

Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.

It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.

As of today, you will be able to download your goals and entries. See more about that on the FAQ page. Thanks for 10 great years of goal-setting and achieving.

♥loverr girrl♥There is a lot of power in prayer

praying for things you want and speaking to a higher power, a being you trust, by letting go and realizing you don’t have ultimate control, truly praying, has a lot of power.

I did that one time in the last 6 months, and that very night I had a vision. 22 months ago

*HolesInMySocks*:)

I’m praying every night, but still not as much as I’d like! I think the night time is a good time to pray, because you can talk to God about the day as a whole, and truly reflect on the day. I would still like to pray in the morning sometimes, to help set me up for the day. It’s a lovely feeling to pray and know that the Lord is listening! 2 years ago

kglamuzinaPrayer to start off

Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that you took the pain of the cross to give me new life. I ask you to come into my life and to give me your peace and joy. I confess that I am a sinner—that I have gone my own way and have done wrong. Please forgive me for my sins. I receive you now as my Lord and Savior. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit. Help me to follow you and to serve you all my life. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.
(that’s from a website I found)

I am so happy to say that I did pray to the Lord today. I told him my worries and things that are going on. It helps so much to pray to God because you know that when he’s there for you, life will take you in the direction that is right for you. Today was just the beginning and I can’t wait to fully have a life where I know that I just need to do and not worry about anything else because God will be guiding me. 2 years ago
