Being worth it depends upon why… if you’re pressured into it by a significant other who wants the pictures as some sort of property over you, DON’T. It’s not worth the discomfort and the later regrets if you break up.
If you are doing this because you want to show your heart and soul that you can love your body, find a professional you feel comfortable with and get some taken in artistic poses with good lighting. Black and white is always classic. 6 years ago

I have taken nude pictures of my wife and it has helped her be more self confident. It has given her a chance to see herself as I see her. She is the most beautiful woman in the world and my hope is that, in some small way, she will see that. 6 years ago
I’ve actually taken photos of a girlfriend naked before. I’ve also had classes in photography and have had my work published.
I will work with my equipment, or if you are concerned about your images being put up on the internet, I can use your equipment so that your images remain completely in your control.
My goal is to photograph women or couples or groups including at least one woman. However if you have an interesting proposition, I might be willing to photograph a man or men. 6 years ago

I’ve done nude photography since 1994. It’s one of the most challenging forms of art because there is a fine line between nude photography as a profound work of art and smut. I have previously had examples of my work published in the magazine Australian Sun and Health before, although in the later years there seems to have been a return to Victorian styled prudery thanks to a lot of nasties exploiting this business on the internet. 7 years ago
