I’ve been wanting one for the longest time, but needed a job to afford it. Well I got the job, which is going to be a 40 min commute, so I definitely need a little hybrid. So far I love my little silver Prius!! 18 months ago

Maybe I can pull this off next year, once the credit cards are paid off. 2 years ago

I may be looking into this sooner than I’d wanted.
My current car is at 110,000 miles and the back axle is thisclose to giving out.
I only have about a grand saved, and need to buy more time. Grrr. 2 years ago

This is definitely one of the goals at the bottom of my list since I just got a car earlier this year and because I definitely cannot afford a hybrid right now. However, I am CERTAIN that my next car will be a hybrid or some other sort of little-to-no-gas vehicle. Planning to drive out my Malibu a handful of years at which point I’ll probably be better able to afford a hybrid… and at which point they’ll probably have lots more, cheaper, and better looking hybrids. Looking forward to it. :) Until then I’m thankful I don’t have to do much driving (5 miles from work) and that my car gets decent gas mileage. :) Oh, and that gas prices are still falling. Whew! 3 years ago

I just bought my very first car, a 2008 Prius. I knew I wanted a hybrid, so I researched and found that the Prius was the best hybrid there is. Because they’re in such high demand, I had to wait about a week after I bought mine to actually receive it. I didn’t get it quite the way I wanted [red, with dark interior] buuuut I love it nonetheless. It’s fast, quiet, and roomy. I can’t wait to take it out on a road trip! 3 years ago

but i just bought my first car, and it’s got some killer mileage. :) so, i’ll check it off. 3 years ago

being that i’m only 16 and paying for half my car myself, i’ve come to the conclusion that i won’t be getting a hybrid anytime soon. =/ but i will, once i’m on my own/have money, (and by that time in the future, i’m sure all cars will be hybrid or completely dependent of gas) i will definitley get one. but in the mean time, i’ll make the goal of getting a car that has good mileage to help lessen my global impact. 3 years ago

I’ve always been interested in going green, but now it is not an interest it’s a necessity. Right now I drive a Mazda Miata, it gets good mileage and everything but it is old. My next car will be a Toyota Prius or Highlander. 3 years ago

Hybrids are cool and costly. My current car is all but fuel efficient and I feel it every time I have to fill up. I am really trying to wait to purchase another car though until I pay this one off (3 more years) or until I save 50% for down payment. I get so tempted with all the ads every week though. 3 years ago
