Getting a tattoo has been in my bucket list for some time now. I first wanted an infinity sign, then a literary tattoo, before finally settling with this butterfly with a kanji design. I have a fascination for dragonflies. I see them as creatures of beauty that are free and not as bound to conform like butterflies. And my blog’s title, To Be. To Be. Tutubi. means just that. The Kanji symbol means life, a celebration of who I am and what I can do. I really love my tattoo and while it was as painful as they said it would be, it was worth it! This is something permanent, and I can live with it as a reminder that I can do with my life as I please. 10 months ago

into an addiction? I have been under the tattoo needle about 8 times now. One tattoo keeps growing (4 times under the needle, so far). Another tattoo that I thought would have grown into a larger one will stand alone… for now ;) My latest tattoo art, I need to go into the tattoo shop to get the finishing touches put on. It’s the one I had redone that is on my shoulder. I am hesitant on going in… I would like a small tattoo on my ankle. I think I know what I want but need to do a bit more research on how I want it to look. 4 years ago

I got a tattoo of a frog in memory of my brother Jeremy. I got the tattoo on what would have been his 30th birthday.
