smiling just make you feel better, you are verified, the other person is verified. Nobody loses , everyone wins. If you feel neutral to a person, trying to make them smile is the best approach. if you are pissed with someone, don’t force yourself to cheer them, but never upset yourself or even them either , because this is sticking on you almost all day too. I am trying to take things more lightly, and a bit more smiles and laughs just make things better for sure. Even I start feeling that my brain starts working better , and faster if I share a joke with a person, and get the good energy from her/him. Try , invent/learn a joke and try to share it with a person, and make a change in your day.
