When I was younger, my imagination was the only thing that held my attention..i would get so wrapped up in my own world an just dream..i could ecscape to any place, any time, become any person…day dreaming was my way out..i could do anything…as I got older, life got the best of me and I became more a realist..i had to worry about bills, money, work, school, every day stress of life..dreaming became something I could do only at night when I was asleep and yet I never rememberd any of my dreams..i want to dream again and this time create from my dreams..i don’t want to just settle on dreaming and let my life pass away..i want to make my dreams a reality. 1 day ago

One night I was just having a gals night out with my friends and we slept outside the last part of my dream I fully remember was Twilight Sparkle(from my little pony) as an alicorn came up to me and said i was dreaming and then it started raining in my dream and in reality it really was. The strange par is that Twilight Sparkle wasn’t even an alicorn back then she was a unicorn and the show didn’t even talk about her bieng an alicorn yet. 1 week ago

Now It’s bittersweet. I sometimes get trapped in my lucid dreams! Where I’m just searching for a switch to wake me up. Oddly enough, it only happens when I let go and accept the dream state as my current reality. I’m usually afraid that I will be stuck in the dream forever, and the waking world will become some distant alternate reality that I will have to forget about or philosophize about (like heaven/hell, or just other realms in genera.0 Usually when I “succumb” is when I feel myself drifting off again and find myself waking up in my room. That happened for a while until I trained myself to forget my dreams, undoing all the training to remember!
But there have been lucid dreams I’ve thoroughly enjoyed! Where I’d walk up to a dream person and start asking them questions! I’d think, “okay, you are a part of me! tell me something I don’t know. help me deal with this: why can’t I get over problem X. what haven’t I learned yet!” It makes dreaming kind of fun! I get to be my own guru.
Good luck in your dreamy endeavors! The subconscious is a beautiful thing that I think far too many people are afraid of. 1 week ago

Only once noticed I was dreaming, years ago. I didn’t wake up from it, so I had some fun wandering through dreamland knowing that it wasn’t real.
Would love to dream lucidly more often, but after reading a little about it, I see you usually have to put quite some effort into it.
Not an urgent goal, but I will at least try to remember it before I go to sleep every night. 3 weeks ago

I always wanted to lucid dream. The thought of KNOWING when I was dreaming and being able t control the dream? Fuck yeah. Matrix time, bitches! I supposed I should start by remembering my dreams. 2 months ago

Lots and lots of practice and once I got the hang of it, everything else was quite easy and I went far from there. 5 months ago

I naturally lucid dream sometimes. A couple of years ago I focused on lucid dreaming and could do it every night. I would like to get back into that :) Unfortunately even though I realise I am dreaming I can’t control my dreams 100% (I could fly, but only 10cm from the ground lol) 7 months ago
