get a hammock

I recieved my hammock and stand kit in the mail. The hammock does smell as promised, of moth balls, but its out in the sun and that smell shall go. I managed to put it together and climb into it. It is not “Perfect” and I think I probably could have gone to a more expensive model, but…I know I will enjoy laying in it as the summer progresses. So Yay me. FINALLY! This goal has been up here for over a year and it really was a simple little goal. I am such a curmodgeon about spending money. Last night it was so hot and yuckky all I wanted AGAIN was to sleep outside so today I finally ordered it. Tonight it is going to be too hot even for a Hammock, but It is on its way. I just hope it fits pretty well on the screened in porch! 2 years ago

I decided to start small to see how much I would enjoy it, so I tried to keep the price down a little. I had some extra money and made the purchase. $75 for the stand from Target and a $10 polyester hammock from Wal-Mart. Set it up at around 9:30 PM and sat in it through 11:00 PM and was absolutely loving it! I cannot to be able to purchase bigger, better, and more hammock accessories! 2 years ago

At work we bought a hammock. It’s so great! I’m working with children there and it’s so nice to relax in the hammock with the children. 350 pounds can be in the hammock. I want to have one, too, but I still live with my parents and they don’t want it. There isn’t enough space in my room, too. But when I have my own house or apartement I really want to get one. At least I have a nice picture of a hammock in my room now. It reminds me that I should have one in the future. 3 years ago

I am looking for a two person hammock + stand.

I rather get a Brazilian one since they are much nicer.

I also need to figure out a way to have protect it protected from the elements of nature during the snowy winters (we don’t have place for it inside). 4 years ago

i love my hammock. i will be sad when i have to put it away for the winter. i try to sit on it or lay in it everyday day. sometimes i put the dog on it with me.
