I have admired Jessy for ages now as I see how supportive she is of her husband and the challenges that they work together to overcome. I absolutely adore how she summed up her reasoning behind taking her husband home instead of putting him in an extended care facility. That speaks volumes not just about her but also about him.
Here are my birthday wishes for her for the coming year: May she find the time to work on the 4th edition of her books, while not impacting her daily interaction with her husband. May she find the motivation to focus on her diet, recognizing that her health is equally important to her husband’s, and that by modifying what she eats she can be healthier and lose weight so she can live a more fulfilling life with her husband. And may things come in place around the house so that it maintains itself, even if it means cementing over the whole yard (which would make it easier for her hubby to get around outside).

I have so loved reading your 43 things and been so inspired by your humor and general stick to itiveness. I’m grateful for the encouragement you showed me last year, too. Hope this was a great birthday for you, with lots of hope for the future!
