Hot Toddie Schoonover ran 2468 miles in 2009, what will he run in 2010?
I have to admit that I like pie. I’ve been eyeing up this egg custard pie at the deli the last two weeks, but have been good about not buying it because I know I’d eat the whole thing.
On Friday, I took my best friend out for dinner for his birthday and when it came time for dessert I went ahead and got a piece of berry pie. It was very good, with raspberries and blackberries combined.
This is only the second time I’ve had pie this year, the last time being the family reunion on July 4th when I had a piece of raspberry pie.
Other favorite pies of mine include peach, cherry and lemon merangue.

My sister made a chicken, red wine, and vegetable pie last weekend for my mum’s birthday.
I like to make apple and plum pies from our fruit trees outside, making the pastry from scratch.
I’ve had: steak; steak and mushroom; steak and onion; steak and kidney (blech); vegetable; shephards’; kangaroo; chicken and wine; pumpkin; apple; apple and plum; apple and peach; and peach pies, among others.
yes, I have to be straight with you. It was an arduous and difficult task.
First I had to go all the way across the street to the pizza place, and I had to choose from an extensive range of dough style and toppings. I kept on the message though, and wasnt distracted by sides or drinks of any kind. I ordered, I paid my money, and I waited.
I sat down with the free local newspaper, and worked my way through it, taking in the wealth of local events and opinion. Eventually, my order was ready, and with mounting excitement and trepidation, I took it home…
...and I ate the pie.
Thanks for all your support.
