perform umrah

I am beyond excitement.. and suspense.. and more excitement! 4 years ago

Many friends and relatives suggested I read this book before my umrah trip. I am half way through. It is very engaging, enlightening and poignant in places. I hope to finish it by tomorrow.

Today is the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). I hope to visit his resting place in Medina during my umrah trip next month, insya-Allah. 4 years ago

I found a tour group which leaves on 1st April. It’s a 15 day/13 nights trip. I am going with my parents and Ammar (I hope he behaves!). We’ll be visiting Cairo, Egypt for 2 days before leaving for Mekah (also known to some as Mecca). We’ll visit Madinah (Medina) too. I hope everything will go smoothly. 4 years ago

I finally felt this calling a few months ago. Guess it was in line with my spiritual reawakening. Since then, many friends have gone, for umrah and haj. And each time I hear their stories, I feel this urge getting stronger. I pray this will come true soon. Planning a trip in March to coincide with school holidays so that Ammar can go with me.
