Today I mailed something I needed to mail and I searched for some jobs. Tomorrow I plan to write cover letters for those jobs and maybe print and mail them too.
I haven’t written about this every day, like I wanted to, but I’ve been working on the list: I’ve called the student loan people (two of them), mailed some medical bills, and done other uninteresting but necessary activities, I promise.
Today I found someone to feed our cat while we were out of town. I did not, however, call the student loan people.
I did the dry cleaning today. Tomorrow I have to call the student loan people.
(all of the things left on the list are weekday things, like scheduling doctor appointments)
Car washed and vacuumed. Plus, although it’s not on the list, I’ve cleaned the house so much that I am now a miserable, bitter Fraulein Hausfrau with a headache and a backache. Jason better appreciate me.
I mailed off all of the cover letters and resumes. I also rescheduled my doctor appointment. I didn’t get as much done today, obviously. But I did work out… but only for 45 minutes. So I guess today wasn’t a very productive day.
The oil in my car is changed. And they got me for an air filter and the fancy oil for aging cars. Even though my car is still 600 miles short of 100K, I sprung for the good stuff (sprang?) because I so rarely get the oil changed.
The cover letters are so freaking done. Plus, I probably have found an apartment and I did some more job searching. I found a really great job in NYC doing criminal appellate work… we’ll see…
I still have to wash and vacuum car (more like get someone else to do it), dry clean a big bag of clothes, and do some Christmas shopping. I’ve bought Jason a shirt and that’s not nearly enough money-spending to sustain a four-year relationship. Just kidding!
I finished-finished my resume. I abandoned my attempt to make a table and it look sooo much better and is ready to be printed. I also emailed RK and searched for an apt. on Craigslist. Plus, I worked on my cover letters. I have two written. Two and a half.
I got the credit card situation straightened out (USBank sent me a credit card and charged me for it—when I didn’t even ask for the card) and I paid some medical bills.
