Just getting some started things finished, like the protective layers on the roof and the floor of the workshops raked.
I hate that it’s so slow, but it was killing us. Now we’re in the “work the paying job overtime to buy the next load of construction materials” phase. I think we definitely won’t be closed in by winter.

right now my task is to shovel dirt to build up and level the floor in the workshop. All good – the more I shove out of my utility room, the sooner we get to work on it, too! Both rooms (extensions off the green house) will have tesselated concrete tile floor, if all goes as planned.

North earth-berm is at the next stage, area for stove and chimney foundation is clear and (OK, unnecessary, but totally uplifting) a new tree and four young lilacs are planted!!!
