Graduate

i did it! eight years of university and i’m finally done. i now have four degrees from four different schools. i’ve ruled out a phd so i don’t think i’m ever going back. 1 week ago

am i gonna do this? i feel like i’ve been slacking too much. maybe i shouldn’t be so hard on myself. in terms of pages research / skilled labor left to do this, it’s actually rather minimal. optimism! there is an escape! 2 months ago

about a year and a half ago, it was happening, and now strangely, across the country, at a different school for a different degree, it’s happening again. a lackadaisical adviser is being very tardy with signing something both due soon and absolutely critical to my graduation. fuck this. last time (years ago, with my bachelor’s) it ended up working out because the adviser did her shit at the LAST EVENING possible. tomorrow, i’m going into this new disaster’s office and demanding the form, signed, so i can get on with my life. 3 months ago

The plan changed slightly but I’m going straight for the HND, distance learning in my own time and I’ve got a job that’s vaguely related to the course. 10 months into the course and it’s goin well. Fingers crossed it continues. 4 months ago

This is my first degree. My associates degree and I am proud but moving on to bachelors degree this this spring and am very excited. 5 months ago

Next semester I will be done with prerequisites, and will apply to U of MN in January! So anxious to see where next year takes me! 5 months ago
