Happy Birthday !

It’s kind of hard to wish ALEEM a totally “own” birthday today when there are so many other 43ers who also were born this day. Of course I’m sure it’s a different definition of “own” that he means in his top goal. I’ve been subscribed to this guy for three years now, before his upgrade to 2.43. I thought he was cool before the upgrade though, and still think he’s top notch. He’s got some great taste in film, even if we don’t always agree on what films should make the annual top ten list. Here’s my wishes for him for the coming year:

May you have the time to watch films regularly, especially foreign ones or ones from Ebert’s list of Great Films (not that I always agree with Ebert’s choices), and share your thoughts on them with us. May you find the commitment you need to eat healthier and exercise regularly, because both will help you get in shape as well as enforce the concept of Use It or Lose It. And may you encounter former friends and rekindle the spark between you, once again becoming better friends.
