move to charlotte

What is wrong with you people!!?? lol!! I’m 22, and have lived in Charlotte most of my life. I just graduated, and plan on moving to Charlotte from a nearby suburb in Feb ‘08. I’ll be getting my first apartment there, but I’m not that excited. I’m gonna save as much $ as I can and get my 5 years job experience…so I can go to Atlanta or NYC by 2012!

Charlotte is GREAT…IF you are a Christian redneck, want to raise a big family before you are 30, and like to sit around in a suburban neighborhood driving an SUV. It’s pretty much just a bunch of strip malls, big empty highways, and a dull downtown (or as they call it, “uptown”). The nightlife is lame, and the “cultural” opportunities are few and far between. Before you move, think twice!

August 2, 2007 I will leave Philly with my 3 kids and move out of the state of PA for ever. Never to return unless it is an emergency.

I live in pittsburgh, I am a single parent looking for a new start. I dont like my job here or my community. I am looking for a new job in Charlotte, and a place to call home maybe a rent to own or something I can afford to get on my feet. If anyone already lives there or is in process of moving there please advise. I am looking for a really safe, child friendly community. I plan to leave in June :)

I’m out….It’s official I am moving to Charlotte in a few weeks!!!!!!! I can’t wait…...

As a matter of fact I live the UNC-Charlotte Campus! Which rocks! :]

I’ve been applying for jobs and have really fallen in love with Charlotte… should no more later this week… two goals in one!

I’m moving to Charlotte as soon as April but as late as June. My mom doesn’t want me to go but I have to do it for me and my children. My girlfriend (the old school term) is moving too. I am sooo excited and can’t wait to leave Philly!!!!!!

Well I am just about 10 weeks away from this goal. June the 16th we are going to look at a condo. My Buddhas job is all set and now just need a place to live! I am so excited… and nervous.

A beautiful city full of history, amazing people, good food, and a VERY good time….If I ever come to a place in my life where I had the opportunity to move back there, I’d do it without a second thought!
