Biceps and back for 1 hour 4 months ago

Right, so week 1 sofar had me doing the Zumba workout four times a week already! Haven’t skipped a day sofar. Times varied between 20 minutes and 40 minutes, my stamina is kinda sad really. I actually walked UP those 16 stairs too, so yay! Tried biking to Dave’s work, lost the chain after less than 15 minutes and had to walk nearly half an hour back :( But hey, they suggest 30 minutes of working out 5 days a week so I’m doing well so far ^^ 21 months ago

Well, since I put this goal on here half an hour ago, let’s add an entry to it! Sofar I started a Zumba work out I intend to stick with 3 times a week at least. I did a 10 minute workout yesterday, mostly because I’m just in terrible shape and I overconfidently jumped right into a normal workout. Today I lasted more than twenty minutes, haha. Tomorrow I’m going on an hour long mountainbike trip and I’m trying my very hardest not to take the elevator anymore and descend (and more importantly) ascend those 16 staircases instead. Oh, and I bought a football. After a decade of playing football (and quitting 4 years ago) you have no idea how good it feels again to have one of these to kick and throw and run after! It’s purple and glittery, but an actual proper football, mind you. Now the rain just needs to stop, because I doubt our neighbours below will appreciate me practicing indoors… 21 months ago

Beautifulme123I want to loose 10 pounds .

Hey How do I just loose ten pounds in 3 months? Sometimes I feel discouraged and not motivated. I am in college and I get so much work that I would only have time to workout 4 times a week. 2 years ago

Now that I have quit smoking, this is a lot more feasible. I am researching different ways I want to work out.

I don’t have the money for classes, or to join a gym or the YMCA.
I live in Seattle so running sucks because it’s always raining.
I work nights so I am tired during daylight and working at night or it doesn’t seem safe to go run or something.

These are the obstacles I have to work with, hopefully I can come up with something soon. Then I am going to work my way up. Starting at just exercising for a good amount of time on Sundays, then adding in Tuesdays, then Thursdays and Saturdays. 4 years ago

Twice a week is about par, but I’m trying to slip in where I can (and rediscover cable TV exercise shows!) 5 years ago

popsieI'm back!

Four months post-baby and I have finally completed four workouts in a week.
I have a personal training session once a week and an exercise class booked once a week. It’s then up to me to exercise two other times. I can either run, go to gym or go on a long walk. Last week I had two long walks, this week I went for a run with the stroller and will either go again or to the gym if it’s raining.

It feels great to be running again.

It was a particularly good workout when I had to run uphill, with a headwind, pushing the stroller – I’m guessing I’ll have sore legs tomorrow!! 6 years ago

I didn’t work out four times last week as I was away on holiday for four days of it (and rushed the couple before I left! However, the week before that I accomplished this. 7 years ago

popsieI can still run!

I had a cough and hadn’t run for a couple of weeks. However, I tried going on Friday and was able to run 5 km before it got too dark. Will go again tomorrow… 7 years ago
