have good friends

i have a few.. but i want some more! a lot of the friends i have are fake and don’t like to hang out with me unless they want something . i think it’s because i don’t smoke/drink/do drugs

But, I’m waiting for the reward of in in with the new! As I’ve grown spiritually, I’ve had to “fire” several friends who weren’t exactly lifting me up. I make efforts in the land of busy, busy new yorkers but its rather challenging if your older than a grad student to form close-nit and reliable true friends. They are out there and when I find them…in time, they become much appreciated!

I realize I already have great friends. Goal accomplished.

Well, one of my friends blew me off about a year ago without the slightest hint as to why. I finally found out. She sent me an email explaining that she was getting tired of me not wanting to go out and drink/party/ect. She was one of my best friends…but couldn’t accept me minus the “good times”.
My other good friend and roommate explained to me that she didn’t ask me to do anything anymore because where she goes is “high end and upscale and she knew that I couldn’t afford it”. She also said that just hanging out wasn’t good/fun/ect enough. Apparently she and her friends are called the “glamour girls”. Good God just roundhouse kick me in the face. Then shoot me in the shins. People blow my mind everyday.

I could have more, closer friends. But I think I can check this off. It’s way beyond what I expected in my youth, and I feel capable of making good friends in the future.

for many times in my life i missed 2 have someone beside me somenoe not like a father or mother or a brother or a sister cuz alhamdolelah i got all of them someone called a friend a good friend …..
i lived days and days asking allah 2 give me such ones that are good lovely and straight
and now i do have many friends that are so lovely the most loved one is ola ….she is so nice and kind i don’t know how 2 say about her and how 2 describe her but she is realy the most honest friend i have in this life…

If you want good friends then be a friend to yourself. If not then people will think that you don’t want any friends and that’s not cool.

I think my girlfriend hinders this process. Her jealousy is stupid but she’s my best friend.

i only have one friend now (i used to have many) so i’m very clingy, afraid that he’ll leave too, and it pushes him away. i need to make more friends, but i’m not sure how to, its been so long since i’ve made new friends. i typically come on too strong b/c i want an instant best friend, i wish you could get one at walmart “Just Add Water!”, lol, i kid. but i need to have more people interaction and to be more comfortable with myself so that i can make a good first impression, i have a bad habit of getting too friendly too fast and spilling my guts after just a few hours b/c i desperately need someone that i can talk/vent to and its just been so long that i get carried away
