LunaSecond time after 18 years
My first time doing karaoke was my only one 18 years ago. I really loved the experience then, and it’s one of those things that you just don’t get around doing them again.
This past weekend, several friends from uni got together to celebrate the birthday of one of them. It was a dinner/karaoke/camping party. The birthday boy brought a huge repertoire of karaoke songs. We had a microphone, but it wasn’t working, yet it gave us the feel of actual performance. So, instead, we all sang together to all the songs —at least a hundred of them. Sometimes we sang full songs, but most of them just a fragment of it, so as to keep things going. We sang for at least four hours in English and Spanish —mostly 70s and 80s songs— with utmost wild abandon!! I had so much fun singing and dancing and laughing!! I want to do it again. Soon.
