Not going well. School started again and now with all my homework and projects due, I don’t have time to write. I’ll try to write today though, because we don’t usually have too much work to do on thursday. 2 years ago

Forcing myself to write has made me actually want to write! If I can keep writing daily for one month, I will claim that I have done this!
Peace Out!

I’m doing it! It’s only been two days, but so what? I’ve found that I enjoy writing about dreams, friends, and even poetry. I write like I’m talking to an audience, because one day someone else might actually read it. I have a busy day tommorow, but I promise I’ll make time to write about at least one thing
Peace Out <3

I think it really comes down to knowing the purpose of your writing. As I have been writing in journals for years, I found myself not wanting to put just meaningless daily tasks/events to consume page counts. However, I found I had to be more creative if I wanted to include meaningful writing topics. Here’s two thoughts,
1. Write to your unknown audience? If this was a family heirloom to be passed on, what advice would you give your children or grand children, regardless of your current age.
2. Travel, or at least try and write as if you’ve never been to a place before. If you consider the same beautiful scenes you pass on a daily basis isn’t interesting because we’re become complacent. To do something you’ve never done, you may have to go somewhere you’ve never been.
Take your journal with you everywhere, and text writing topics to yourself throughout your day. 2 years ago
Started this up again. Been writing daily. Just short notes about the day. 2 years ago
... I haven’t made this a priority. I did give up on paper journals when my son was born … writing by hand takes WAY TOO MUCH TIME!!!!!!! I was writing electronically for awhile in Word. But as I commited more time to other things (43things, my blog) I feel that I am documenting my life and my son’s life pretty accurately.
So, when the time is write (pun intended) I will continue. But for now it is not a priority. 2 years ago
Ive been on the hunt for a new journal that will last me at least 6 months. Any recommendations? 3 years ago
For the past couple months, I have been maintaining this goal, for the most part, and I would like to finish the pages in the current book by the end of the year. 3 years ago
