And that, my friends, is about as far as I’m going to get before New Years Day!
143 is ALMOST 150, so I’m counting this as a success.
I don’t think I’ve watched so many films in a single week… ever.

Herzog is redeeming me a little. Back on a quest to watch all of his films.
Kasper Hauser is a supposedly real person kept in a cellar for the first 17 years of his life in the early 1800’s, didn’t know anything about the world, how to talk, walk, etc, and then abruptly taken out.
I’ve ALWAYS loved the Hauser legend, as well as any story about wild children or similar. Enjoyed this one a lot, though it’s so very sad to think about.

I’ll just say that I’m really glad I became a vegetarian 17 years ago.
And that I’m never eating again. That’s all.

Belgian film about a boy with Asperger’s Syndrome, teased ruthlessly. I know that a few friends here will be interested in this one! I loved Ben and really related to how he felt.
Just all around loved this film really. I’m not a gamer, but I definitely retreat into that safe world of my own too.

Oh my goodness, creepy child. But a really amazing little actress there.
I can see why adoption advocates started screaming about this one, but I thought it played into exactly what a horror movie should to make us uncomfortable. Enjoyed it, made me squirm.

I really hope Sam Raimi decides to make more horror films, because I enjoyed this one. Thought it was an appropriate follow up to My Name is Bruce. It’s nice to see lesser known moviemakers make it big, but I admit that I usually miss the roots more than I enjoy the big budget. Ah well.
More horror, Sam!

Lots of silliness in this film. I hate when they include foreign stereotype characters. I do love Ted Raimi though.
Seeing Bruce Campbell poke fun at himself was amusing… wasn’t a terribly good film, but wasn’t completely horrible for the B-movie fans.

A documentary about a group of artists in the 90’s. I like a lot of these people and it was incredibly inspiring to watch, so… very cool.
Recommended to artists wanting to nurture their inner child.
