knit a jumper

Front piece done, yay! Now started sleeve 1. 8 months ago

Have now cast on the front piece and knit the rib section. Huzzah. Gonna take a while to finish the whole of the front and the sleeves tho! 8 months ago

The back piece is done. This goal is progressing slowly due to not having much time! After finishing the back though, casting on another 80 sts to make a similar piece for the front requires motivation :D 8 months ago

I am about half way through the back of the jumper and I am finding it hard to keep concentrated as the knitting sometimes makes my elbows ache and my head hurt :( I think it is because it’s quite a complicated pattern, but still I would like to stick to this even if it is a few rows a day.. it would be such a shame to waste the lovely wool, and I would like to achieve something to show off! 9 months ago

I bought some good quality wool a couple of weeks ago and so I needed to do something with it!

Have cast on the back part, knit the rib, and started knitting the cable pattern. It’s sufficiently complicated to keep me interested. 10 months ago

I have bought some wool in the hope that I will somehow muster up the knowledge to knit a jumper. I am armed with books and patterns.. I look forward to trying :) 11 months ago

One of my random great achievements in life! I started in December and finished in June! I thoroughly enjoyed knitting the jumper. My boyfriend had it for his birthday. It was ready just in time! It was more of a personal challenge than wanting to knit a jumper. Completing this has brought me more in tune with my creative side. I love crafts. I’m well chuffed I did this. Absolutely worth it. 11 months ago

In June! I have started the second sleeve. After that it’s the front with motif!! 16 months ago

Back completed, now working on sleeves.
Started second week of December.
