Harvest our lavendar

I went outside with shears today to harvest the lavender. I had to dodge the bees, but it wasn’t too scary. I cut as much as I could. I tied string around the bouquet and put it in a flower vase to dry. Once it is dried out I intend to put the lavender in homesewn sachet bags. Yay! I totally missed the harvest period last summer! The bees kept me away for weeks. Then the lavender went to seed while we were away on a vacation! Oh, well…next summer 3 years ago
