So, the deadline to audition was September 3rd… I never got the word about it. Oh well. My band wasn’t prepared anyway. I still went to the show. There were some good pieces shown. I saw some friends go up twice, so I’ll try to do that next year. Besides, there are two or three more showcases this year, so, till then. 2 years ago

The talent show, or a talent show, is on September 17. I’m not sure if it’s the school-sponsored one, but who cares? It’s finally here! Only three problems: my band needs a singer, a bassist, and the equipment to back them up! Crap, we’re getting down to the wire on this one. 2 years ago
Since I’m going into my junior year of high school, I have a plan for this year’s and next year’s talent shows: I’m going to enter this year’s talent show with my band that I play drums in, and enter my band where I play guitar and sing into next year’s. The reason is, well, because of my band mate’s age. My one friend plays lead guitar for my drumming band, but he’s going into his senior year. :/. I don’t think the school allows groups with persons not currently attending the school, so that’s the main plan.
There’s also another issue: Both bands have major spots that need to be filled. In my drumming band, we need a lead singer and a bassist, and in my guitar/vocals band, we need a bassist, and possibly a second guitarist (maybe also a keyboardist? The possibilities!). There are not many dedicated bassists in my area! 2 years ago
