CharityHammett7I make $25000

I want to make $50k/yr 5 months ago

PasadenaSueThis will be my 2013 Resolution.

I stopped working on this goal and now I am determined to make this a priority for 2013. I have a lot of ideas for businesses, and I have been talking with friends at work about starting a company on the side to supplement our incomes. We are in the discussion stage at present. Time for me to learn about setting up a company, and all the legal stuff that goes along with it.

I am confident that this goal will be within my reach soon. :) 5 months ago

PasadenaSueI haven't been focusing on this goal....

However I need to. I need to envision how my life would be with an income twice as large as my current income. The places I can go, the people I can help, the house I could buy. I will add this to my thoughts when I reflect on what I want from my life at night. 7 months ago

PasadenaSueWe covered prosperity in Pranic Healing!

Who would have thought? Well Master Co for one. At the end of our healing course he threw in a bonus 15 minutes talking about how to increase your prosperity and why it works. It has to do with energy flow and chakras, along with karma. I listened. I took some notes. And I will try some of what he taught us because there is no reason not to.

If I follow his advice, two weeks of practice should be enough to feel a change in myself. I can invest two weeks. Stay tuned. 9 months ago

This entry may sound a little superficial but honestly, I’m not greedy. I just want to find ways to ease up on the financial hassle so that I can spend less time worrying and more time doing the things that bring me joy. 17 months ago

PasadenaSueSome brainstorming.

I was talking with a friend and I mentioned that I wanted to get a small group of people together once a week to brainstorm business ideas. I mentioned that we had done this when a group of us finished our Masters degree. And we had some good ideas. As I was explaining one idea I had that I hadn’t acted on, it occurred to me that I could still act on it and it could be profitable.

Lightbulb goes on!

Time to start working on this goal and have it in place by the summer. Sometimes you do get a second chance in life. :) 17 months ago

PasadenaSueI put a copy of my salary in an envelope and dated it.

And I will put a reminder on my calendar to check my progress in 6 months and next year at this time.

I have a feeling that 2012 is going to be a year of significant change for me. :) 18 months ago

PasadenaSueI am not greedy...

that’s not why I am adding this goal. The truth is that unless I make this a priority, it won’t happen on its own. If I actually determined my salary compared to my work experience and education, my salary should be close to double what it is today.

I can accomplish this by various means if I put my mind to it. I could hope that work will offer the opportunity for a huge pay increase – however that is very unlikely. So the next option is to start working on a business and increase my income that way. More realistic, more work.

Having money to help other people is what I want. I don’t need things, I have plenty of those already. 18 months ago

ChristianaOdumKind of essential

I have to move into a new place Aug 1st since my room mate is getting married. Not only did I WANT to double my income, but now I HAVE to. I have to increase my income by at least 50% by July, or I won’t be able to pay rent. WISH ME LUCK!! Not sure how I’m going to do it, but I know it will work out and I’m excited to see what happens. I’ve taken some steps to get my handmade business rolling, and I’m looking into taking on a weekend job. Cross your fingers. :) 2 years ago

busybeesonAdding More Tools to the Tool Belt

So I have been teaching Zumba now for around two months and it is helping with my finances. That said, I need to earn even more. Luckily, my gym has asked me to become a personal trainer and work one-on-one with clients. This could help me quite a bit.

I am also looking into ways of automating certain parts of my jewelry making business. This will allow me to make more jewelry in a shorter amount of time, resulting in more income (and more time to experiment with new designs).

Aside from that, I have gotten more people enrolled in my jewelry-making class and that will also add to my income. I’m hoping to make enough to start a savings fund, put up a fence, fix my roof and renovate my attic. Keep your fingers crossed for me! 2 years ago
