I enrolled in a 6 month group program with a career coach specific to my industry. It is called the ASC and the coach’s name is Sharon Moist. She coaches mainly actors, and probably other business people too I assume.
She is based in the US, and the the sessions are run by teleconference. I just sent off my initial info for her review and am looking forward to what comes next. I think this will be a good investment, as I can honestly say I do need a good kick up the arse sometimes.
..Make that often!
The first call is next week.
Now that I think about it, I’m really glad I made this commitment because it forces me to be active with my career, in a way that’s right for me, and it also requires me to continually review what’s working and what’s not.
Fingers crossed I make some real, healthy progress in 2010! :) 3 years ago
