stop waiting for other people

so there is one person I still wait for. but in the spirit of “No Homers” “we’re allowed to have one!”, I am considering this done.

maybe actually I still wait on people more often than I think, but it doesn’t seem to be a problem and I like to think I’m making progress.

Now I show up later than I normally would… and now have become one of the people who are like 5 minutes late… too bad so sad, now everyone else can feel how frustrating it is.

I suppose this is one of those things that I had to figure out in my head first, because the reality of it all is that I can’t not wait for certain people; better said, some things really are dependent on others.

So here’s the deal: I figure out if it really is worth the wait or if it’s an official thing that I really cannot change. If it isn’t then, I go do what I want or need to do. If it is, then I wait. It depends on the situation and on what I need and want.

I think that’s fair enough. I’m marking this done!

I won’t fix your life for you and I’m not going to wait for you to get over whatever that is. I’ll go make myself happy now, and you take care of your business. I’ll be here for help and support, but there are some things that are better done alone by you.

Because “help” doesn’t mean that I’d do everything for you. I also have my life to take care of and you have to grow up and be responsible for yours.

I’m so sorry to have to put it like this.

I know this is going to sound like a good excuse, but there are times when I really do depend on some people to get some things done. I just have to figure out a way to do things by myself. And more importantly, I should ask myself, “Do I really want to do this?”

The way I see it, when I don’t think it’s that important, it doesn’t get done right away.

I like this goal though i still have not been able to make an entry.

Waiting tests your patience . waiting is never a happy activity except when it is for a short while.

I get an F in this one for the moment. ugh. I saw it all coming. and I waited anyway. I gave someone else the controls and sat there like a dumby waiting. The month of June went by who’s end came with the dismay of disappointment that can only be exist with the greatest amplifier of disappointment there is: Sitting and waiting and hoping.

We’re now on to doing, and making, and not relying.
