My Python class/workshop is due to start in 3 weeks. To prep, I’ve decided to work my way through one of my Python books. 6 months ago
I’ve done a little Java recently. In theory, languages are similar. And everyone says Python is FUN. What a strange context for the word. Well, I am ready for fun. 6 months ago

After reading an entry by Flow36, went and checked out Udacity:
Wow! This looks like a great resource indeed! Will enrol at some stage and try it out. 7 months ago
watching the first tutorial from the Google Python School. It is probably the best resource for beginner Pythonistas who already have some idea about programming in some other language but who have perhaps not coded in a while.

Yesterday I started doing Unit 1 of CS 101 (learning with Python language) on Udacity. It’s pretty cool so far! Excited to do more… 8 months ago
I am really geeked about my new discovery: Udacity
I enrolled in an online course, CS101. In it, folks from Stanford and Google (with endorsement from Sergey Brin) teach you CS concepts using Python. The course project is to build a search engine! You build up your understanding of concepts and coding skills as you progress. Sweet.
It’s designed to be 7 weeks long, but you can go at your own pace. Given my own intellectual curiosities, I am excited to see what this online course will be like, and how well they handle instruction in this format. 8 months ago
