I did the Boston Duck Tour at the end of my second visit to Boston. But not only does the duck give a really good tour of Boston but it acts like a tourist information point. The guide, ours did anyway, tells you about loads of exhibitions and places you can go and see, including a bunch of free ones.

One of the things that put me of the going on it was the drivers, they looked like they would be really annoying and very embarrassing, but ours (Tolly) was quite normal and when he was telling us that we needed to the embarrassing Boston Duck Tour thing called “Quacking” we had to do it, but relax, enjoy it you will never see these people again. Which made me feel far less bothered about shouting “Quack Quack” with everyone else, every now and then.

The tour was excellent, it was really good seeing the city from the water and the land. The driver told you lots about the history of the city, and Boston people (Unfortunately, history is one of those thing that goes in one ear an out the other for me, but I still like hearing it as it passed through my brain).

I was really luck in that I sat next to a women from somewhere hotter than Boston, and was freezing cold, she was wearing a jumper and jacket. So being the Gentleman I am ;) I offered to take the window seat, so that she would not get to cold. I am from Scotland and I was boiling, in just a T-shirt and got a great view and took loads of pics
