My tiny patio has been transformed. It all started with a hanging basket of petunias. Gorgeous, purple petunias. Now I have several beautiful flowering plants and some incredibly healthy and thriving herbs, basil, thyme, chives, rosemary, sage, pineapple sage. I love it. 12 months ago

First to make a plan. I want herbs and flowers, lots of color and delicious scents. I have several large containers already, but would like to have more. Herbs I want (off the top of my head); rosemary, basil, thyme, oregano, sage, mint, lemon balm, savory, thai basil, pineapple sage, dill, and whatever else I think of. Maybe cherry tomatoes. Flowers! Colorful and wonderful smelling. I’m going to have to think about what kinds I want. Certainly a mixture of annuals and perennials. I;m going to start a garden plan book.
Also, I want to think about seating, something comfortable, but not too big and nothing vulgar. Going to have to think of a way to shade the patio, the summer sun is vicious. 2 years ago
