Today my friend and I were just talking about me going to Paris for a few days. I have to get a Passport first and save up! I’m reading tips on what to do when you go on a trip. The last thing I want is some crummy hotel that’s too far from the Centre. When I go I want to visit the Louvre and Eiffel Tower; but mainly, just sit outside a central cafe in the heart of Paris relaxing and watching the people go by observing the culture. It would be great too to meet some other English speaking natives to learn more about Parisian life. I have seriously got to do this!! 2 months ago

I have never been to France, but I predict that upon arriving there, it would be exceedingly familiar.

Madeline, Le Petit Prince, French food, French clothes, French language, French films, French philosophers. From childhood to young adulthood, I was the quintessential Francophile. I lived in France while I lived in Asia.

Still, I have only seen it through someone else’s eyes. I wish to one day see with my own. To touch the stones and smell the lavenders. To drink freshly brewed coffee. To hear music. To smell bread. To feel rain.

It’s not a long time until I’ll earn my way into the La Ville-Lumière. 3 months ago

I’ve only been to the airport but I studied French for 4 years. I’ve read about it, seen it in movies and seen pictures etc. I feel like I’ve already been there!

It is calling me and has been for so many years.

I have been before briefly while going to Euro Disney. I spent about 2 days in the city. I would really like to immerse myself in Paris for a week at least. I am going to see if I can book something in April perhaps. 4 months ago
