I end up getting sucked into the one thing I don’t have time for. Like right now, I should be getting up and starting work. This is how I end up staying up so late at night…catching up. 4 months ago
1. wash my face
2. cook breakfast & eat
3. brush my teeth
4. 25 minute work out
5. check online acounts ( email, FB..)
6. clean anything that needs it
7. Relax for an hour
8. go to work
9. get off work
10. glass of wine
11. sleep
12. repeat 4 months ago
Has taught me a lot about time management already and I feel like I have honestly completed this goal. 4 months ago
I dream to be able to sleep at 8pm and to be awake by 4am (even on weekends!). I have to forget watching telenovelas and to keep in mind that coming late (and unprepared) to class is so eeeew. :D I’m having faith. Dreams do come true. :) 4 months ago
I’ve been telling myself to do better at this for years. Sometimes I’d come up with a plan, and maybe it would work… but eventually things would go back toward chaos, my natural state. :)
I’ve come to the realization that it’s something I will need to work at on an active level, rather than passively willing myself to do better.
Time is precious, and I need to figure out how to maximize its use. I need to make a schedule for myself that I can stick to regularly. That has always been the hard part for me. My current job allows me to set my own hours, and I end up struggling with that freedom from structure because I often don’t use the hours in my day very wisely. It’s hard because there’s no one there to keep me in line. I also love that, but I clearly do need some structure—thus I must be my own disciplinarian.
My scheduling plan needs to be something realistic and doable that I can accomplish. I will also build up by giving myself smaller requirements first, then hopefully increasing the demands I put on myself in terms of structured time. 6 months ago
I was in sparc for the past 3 months and they kept me on a precise daily schedule. Ive been relaesed and I found that the schedule they put me on made me lose weight, get better grades, and catch up on some sleep. My plan is to continue this schedule at home now that I’m free 6 months ago
Ive been being lazy every now and again when it comes to homework and I don’t want to do that because this is college and im a fool if i get bad grades in college since im paying for it 7 months ago
