My 4 year old desktop PC got an extra 250GB harddisk and a 1GB RAM installed.
Could do with a DVD writer and a graphics card upgrade and….
but I don’t want to invest in making this machine too good :-)
Need to keep on track with getting a mac too!

mu old PC died with the dodgy capacitor issue that affected a lot of motherboards the age of mine..have since repaired it and use it as a second PC.
Got a lovely new Dell which is running sweetly and didn’t even have to get it with Vista (sodding MS crap product that it is) yeah all good 5 years ago

From Celeron 1.8Ghz, 80GB to P4 2.6Ghz, 250GB.

I was running Windows 98 until last summer. I updated my computer. Brand new motherboard, video card, case, the whole shebang. Slowly been making all my computer stuff match now. My case is silver, so I got a silver monitor and keyboard. Ordered a mouse. Now I need silver speakers and a printer (but a good printer). 7 years ago
