I never get to bed before 12 these days and enough is enough! It’s really showing on my face, and I’m always tired! To acheive my goal I’ll have to start going to bed around 10…it’s going to happen! 5 years ago

I usually go to bed around 10pm and wake up at 6am for work. I have a memory foam bed which was the best $2k I have ever spent. On weekends I can sleep up to 12 hours-if I want. My life schedule is such that I can sleep pretty much whenever I want (you know after work/weekends) and I love that. I see so many people run ragged, and they wonder why they look old?! There is a reason people think my husband and I look at least 5 years younger than we actually are…ahhh sleep. Gotta love it-and I appreciate that I get so much of it! 5 years ago

Well, I haven’t quite worked my way up to getting eight hours of sleep every week night, but I have managed to get myself in the habit of getting into bed and turning out the light one hour earlier then I used to. This one little tweak translates into about six hours of sleep every night as oppose to four or five. A VAST improvement. 5 years ago

I realized something about quantity and quality this weekend.
I had been getting into bed around 12:30 and getting up around 8:30 in the morning. But it would take me a while to fall asleep and I would wake up tired.
But I went camping last weekend and we slept in tents and went to bed around 12 and got up around 7, and I would wake up feeling alive and ready to meet the day, despite it being very cold out and us camping. But I think it helped that the sun woke us up and coincided with our natural cycle, rather than at home where there are artificial lights and computers and such keeping us up and disturbing our sleep.
Maybe I’ll try going to sleep with the curtain up, so the sun gradually wakes me up? Hm? 5 years ago
Sleeping has been really difficult lately.
I mean, I’m usually in bed at a decent hour
but it takes me hours of tossing and turning to fall asleep.
I guess I just have a lot on my mind right now.
Last night I was awake thinking of what on earth I’ll be doing after I graduate and I started getting scared about the future… and couldn’t shut down my mind. 5 years ago
