build a sustainable house with my own two hands

I’m in college, getting a history degree, and I’ve recently hit upon the idea of building a house. I’ve since become obsessed. I live in NYC, and I want to have a year or two of complete solitude in which I can achieve personal goals. I know I want to leave the United States, but I don’t know where I want to go. I need to form a plan, I need to begin learning about construction, and I need money. In short, I feel lost. 7 years ago
